An AU Marauders RP
James Potter resides within Gryffindor. During his time at Hogwarts he is considered to be the heart-throb and a Quidditch star. However, he only has his eyes set upon a bright, red-headed muggle-born witch which of who can care less about him and his good looks.
Lily Evans is not the sort of girl to fall for any guy that hands her a rose and a line. However, for some odd reason, Lily has been having trouble shaking off the notorious Gryffindor Prince, James Potter. She holds very little interest in him, but things could change in the course of several years.
Severus Snape has been Lily's friend since they were children. Having been sorted into Slytherin, Severus knows that his shot with Lily is slim to none, but that does not stop him from dropping hints of his interest in her.
Remus Lupin resides in Ravenclaw. Hiding a secret from his fellow peers, Remus has only one person who truly understands what he is going through. A young lady who knows the meaning of being a werewolf all to well.
Emma Petrov has been the only one to recognize the symptoms of her fellow peer, Remus Lupin. Guiding him and aiding him through this troublesome transformations upon a Full Moon as an illegal animagus, Emma's feelings for him have become strong. However, Emma is shy and does not know how to lay her emotions for Remus across the table.
Sirius Black has followed in the footseteps of his entire family by being sorted into Slytherin. Known as the Playboy of Slytherin Sirius seems to have it all; the wealth, the looks, and the skills. However as the years pass by, he is starting to see that what his family believes is not necessarily right, especially when he falls for a muggle-born witch from Gryffindor. Rest assure, Sirius will have his hands full trying to hide the secret from his brother and cousins. Not to mention trying to convince the muggle-born witch that he is trustworthy and would never hurt her.
Kathlynn Veraz is the type of girl that stays away from the male sex. Having been physically and mentally abused by her past muggle boyfriend, she is wary of all guys, even of those in her own house. When Sirius Black starts to show an interest in her, Kathlynn is quick to shoot him down from his high acclaimed stature. However, she finds herself in the same position as that of her friend Lily, as Sirius proves to be just as stubborn as James Potter in the pursuit after her heart.
Peter Pettigrew is the loner. He can be seen normally eating by himself. He barely talks with anyone. Sorted into Hufflepuff, he can't help but dream that he could be part of a higher social group.
Fallon Brandon is a shy Hufflepuff who can be seen off in the corner of the common room writing music or poetry. Her songs are concentrated upon love and heart-break. But unknown to most, she has eyes for a certain fellow badger, but is too afraid to address him.
For Andromeda, life as a pureblood is starting to become less glamourious and more tiresome. She longs to weasle her way out, but she knows it is easier said than done. Being one of the first to notice her cousin Sirius' strange behavior, she ventures out along his road. However, what she finds along this path might be more than she can handle. Especially when a certain pureblood male and a muggle-born male both deisre her attention and heart.
William Montague has been targeted by Andromeda's family to be the lucky one to gain her hand in marriage. But first, Ryan has to tune into what Andromeda's looking for, even if it means venturing down the path of un-pureblood like behavior in order to win her heart and hand.
Ted Tonks has had a crush upon Andromeda since his third year, but finds himself unworthy to be her boyfriend. Despite his struggles in the pass years, he figures this will be the year to finally ask Andromeda out. But when he sees Andromeda wrapped in the arms of Ryan Montague, his confidence flat-lines and he goes back to watchin Andromeda from afar. However, Ted will only stand to witness so much before he takes his shot of winning Andromeda's heart.
Regulus Black is the younger brother of Sirius. Like Sirius, Regulus is in Slytherin, however, he holds his family views close to his heart. Considering those of half-blood and muggle-born families below him. But his views might change little by little when an unexpected witch gives him a run for his money in the form of a bet that blooms into something Regulus had been trying to avoid all along.
Evangeline Dawson is a half-blood witch who resides in Ravenclaw. Her views on the world can be considered quite strange yet filled with wise knowledge. Upon encountering Regulus, Evangeline holds much opinion upon the boy's lack of understanding, however as her comments about him reach his ears, she is quick to counter his every remark and move to the point of where she gets into a bet with him that could prove to be potentially fatal to her heart.
How and when will the Marauders' meet one another despite the teenage hormones that they are and going to be facing? How have they preceive one another even before and after they come together as a group? What will happen to other students; old and young around them? What of the approaching war? What side will students take?
MMT is a unique board that allows characters to roleplay in different school years that correspond to their characters magical career at Hogwarts. ie years first through seventh can be roleplayed.
MMT is a friendly place that welcomes roleplayers who are medicore to advance in their roleplaying skills. The total required post length is 300+ words which does not include any thread templates for a character.
MMT is currently looking for 4 experienced Staff Members who are friendly to potential members, creative in ways of ideas, and overall active.
MMT does have a Canon Character list that is available to view. As well as a simple, short application to fill out before roleplaying.
