A Walk To Calm Down } Anna <3

The band planning time had been cut short due to the appearance of Anna and then Rochelle. But Jay wasn't sorry about that. He was glad to be hanging out with Anna. Maybe that night he could actually tell her how he feels? He wasn't sure if he could. But he really wanted to... and besides it would be a load off his shoulders... right? He sighed gently as he walked with her.

He was sure that Jerad really made her mad. He would try to explain it, but he knew Jerad should be the one to explain it... and not him. Jay had made up his mind... he was going to tell her now. "Anna... " Jay had stopped quickly and glanced at her. "i really need to say this... it has been causing havoc on my mind... I like you alot Anna... Much more than a friend. and i have for the longest time." He bit his lip after saying that, his face pinked soon after.

Once they left the great hall it was like a weight lifted off her shoulders. Anna just needed time to cool off, stop thinking the worst of what just happened in there with her supposed honorary brother.

She was resting her head against Jamie's arm and holding his hand tightly with both of hers. They walked for a short while before stopping. Well the best thing that happened so far today was Jamie FINALLY asked her out.

The girl smiled when he stopped and blurted out that he liked her as more than a friend. "I would hope so.... we are going on a date tonight." She laughed a short soft laugh and got on her tip toes to look him in the eyes. "But why was it causing havoc? You should know that I really like you more than a friend.... I've been dropping obvious hints for the past two years... trying to get you to ask me out."

But it didn't really matter now. They were going to have their date and it should go well. After all, it was best to be friends before dating and they had that covered. Anna blinked a little, still feeling teary from the commotion earlier.

Rocking herself forward on her toes a little she planted a small kiss to Jamie's lips. It didn't make all the bad things just disappear though, but it was very nice.

Jay smiled softly and said, "yeah... good point. I wouldn't have asked you out if i wasn't sure that i liked you like that. but regardless... i just needed to say it. " Saying it outloud did lift a weight off of him. He closed his eyes for a moment to focus on what he was going to say before opening them again. "because i kept putting off asking you out because my mind was so focused on the music. but i did notice what you were trying to do. I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a passing crush before i asked. " He flashed her a half smile before continuing.

"i think i was being a bit obvious about my feelings for you... The others probably were doing bets behind our backs about how long it would take. and if they are, i would promptly kick their asses. "said Jay with a laugh. He smiled at the fact that she kissed him. He kissed her back softly.

Ah... so it was her, not getting that he was serious. "Oh..." she blushed. "I thought maybe you figured I was only being playful and was just playing along... like friends do sometimes." Duh Anna....

She tugged at him, to get him to move again, keep their walk going. "So... you really think Annabelle is a pretty name?" She hated it... it was so plain and Muggle like.

There was something tugging at the back of Anna's mind, a worry. Already she was beginning to think maybe she shouldn't ever let anyone in but to keep her walls up, to keep those she cared for safe.

Jay shrugged and said, "at first i thought that you were just playing... but then i thought, what if you weren't just being playful. I was not sure mostly... " He just smiled. He started to walk again as she was tugging him. He had to think about what she said for only a second before saying, "of course i do. I think it is a very pretty name." He wasn't going to lie about it. He honestly thought it was beautiful...

Anna took his arm again and walked slowly. "Well, now you know for sure I really like you." She bumped him playfully as they continued to walk along. She was stumped as to why he actually liked her name. But whatevs, right?

"Well... since you like it..." she grinned. [color=blue"You... and ONLY you have my permission to call me by my full name."[/color] It did sound pretty when he said it.

After walking around the courtyard for awhile, Anna spotted an open bench. They needed to nab it before anyone else did! And they did! Anna plopped down on the bench as ladylike as possible and patted the seat beside her for Jamie to sit. "Hey Jamie...." she looked at him curiously. "I know this is a bit fast for being our 'first date' and all... but... could you hold me? Just for a little while."

Jay smiled happily and said, "i am glad to know that. "He bumped her back with a smirk. He was having fun just walking around with her."i feel so special to have that sort of permission, Annabelle"He said sweetly. but then he said, "but if you really don't want me to call you it, i can resist the urge" he winked playfully.

Jay happily took his place next to Anna on the bench. He looked over at her as she spoke. He always thought it was best to pay attention to her when she spoke. When Anna was finished speaking, he just grinned at her and said, "you know i would hold you anytime you want me to." He pulled her into a loving warm embrace.

It was good to already have that playful banter in their relationship. At least, she figured they had a secefic relationship now... since they were going on a date, taking that next step from friends to more than friends.

Anna thought about it as she leaned against his body, resting her head on his shoulder and resting a hand on the front arm wrapped around her. "I think I can get used to it... it sounds special when you say it."

She took a deep breath and let out a sigh. "I thought I'd ask rather than wrap your arms around me." Annabelle closed her eyes, getting more calm with each moment.
